Meet four of the new MA Radio students at the University of Sunderland:
Bethany Donkin produces the Femme Collective at Chapel FM, interviewing women in & around Leeds who are making ripples on the creative scene. She has worked with homeless people & other vulnerable adults, and is the producer of the mishmash audio art podcast Coffee and Toothpaste.
Originally from Bulgaria, Iv Marks studied Media Production at Bournemouth University, where she has been teaching as an academic tutor. Iv has a keen interest in audio drama - her final project was the apocalyptic audio drama “Eviternity”.
Oliver Obikuwu has had experience as a Co-Host at Top FM in Nigeria,and previously studied Applied Business at the University of Sunderland.
James Barker has been working as a freelance journalist with BBC Tees and Sky News, and he runs a video production company specialising in multi-camera video production.
