ArtyParti presents ‘Your Artistic Identity’ - an informal workshop-based event with creative professional development at its heart.
This event series is about developing your voice as a creative practitioner. We’ll work together collaboratively to create material useful for articulating your practice. You’ll leave with a tighter focus on describing your artistic voice.
With collaborative tasks and iterative feedback woven in, we’ll put pen to paper to find and hone your artistic voice - writing material useful for biographies, websites, artist statements, bid applications, etc.
In this third session, as requested by the group during our March event, we’re turning our attention to social media - sharing tips, tricks, and resources for establishing and maintaining your artistic identity across social platforms. We’ll be forming or tweaking short bios, breaking down how elements of our existing practice translate to bitesize material, and building plans to minimise the time-and-energy-cost of social media by building longer-term posting plans for our own chosen platforms.
