Six more artists & creatives “step up to the microphone” at our first ‘Show & Tell’ event at Port Independent in Sunderland, to share their projects and practice.

From (literally) shining a light on the environmental destruction of 'ghost-fishing', to the restorative healing of collective water-colouring when dealing with grief, our artists & creatives share recent projects and passions that they've been working on recently.

You'll hear an audio retelling of moving to the UK from Greece in seeking queer-friendlier culture, how an illustrator responded to creating illustrations for an audio drama, how building in intentional mistakes can inform an artist's practice, and the 45-hour embroidered 'clown pendant' design that celebrates often maligned working class culture.

Release Date: Sunday 16th February 2025
